Designed by the architectural firm Shreve, Lamb & Harmon, it was completed in 1931 and stands at 697 feet (212 meters) tall with 60 stories. This building, also known as the Salmon Building, is situated at the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, adjacent to Bryant Park and the New York Public Library.
