Description:

2D simulation of a mixer vessel using MRFSimpleFoam solver of OpenFOAM. MRFSimpleFoam is a steady state solver which employs multiple reference frame (MRF) model. This is an example/tutorial from OpenFOAM test cases. MRF model computes fluid flow using both stationary and rotating frame of reference

s with rotating zone computed in rotating frame and stationary zone is calculated in stationary frame. OpenFOAM simulation files are also included.
