A bicycle consists of many components like pedals, tires and wheels however bicycle frame is the core part of a bicycle. Bicycles come in different designs and the design of the frame governs the performance and properties of the bicycle. Bike rider’s comfort and behavior can be affected by the lengths and angles of the frame. Analyzing stress and deformation can help in improving the overall performance of a bicycle. This simulation project analyses stress and deformation of a bicycle frame using ANSYS Workbench (Mechanical). Simulation file attached for download.
