CFD modeling is used extensively to analyze the flow and thermal interactions with the spacecraft before going for the part and system production. Information obtained from CFD modeling can then be used for making different design decisions. This project is about the CFD modeling of Starship. Mesh consists of around million elements. For turbulence SST model is used. Inlet velocity 120 m/s. ANSYS CFX case file attached for download.
