Virtual reality is an immersive experience taking place within an artificial environment. It makes human brain believe that it is somewhere it is really not. Virtual reality headsets are normally required to mimic a user's physical presence in an artificial environment. Most common applications of VR are gaming, education, marketing and engineering including automotive, construction, architecture, and aerospace. With VR, user can experience a simulation (CAE, CAx, CFD, FEM, FEA) or a 3D (CAD) model of a prototype designed in virtual environment instead of real world before it’s even built.
