About the Lattice Boltzmann Method for Fluid Simulations Project
Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is an approach for fluid simulation used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). In this approach gases/fluids are considered as consisting of a large number of small particles moving with random motions and modeled by the Boltzmann transport equation. LBM is traditionally considered more suitable for modeling multiphase and small scale flows. There are several open source (OpenLB, Palabos, Sailfish) and commercial (XFlow, PowerFLOW, Discovery Live) LBM based codes available. There are plenty of LBM simulations available, check them out for more insights and hands-on experience. Here is the link: https://fetchcfd.com/search-projects-by-tag/379
