About the Buoy Simulation With Rigid Body Solver Project
In this simulation, the buoy motion is restricted to three degrees of freedom namely horizontal and vertical translation and rotation about an axis perpendicular to the translational directions. The floating buoy motion results from interactions between itself and the wave motion of the surrounding fluid created by x-directional initial contraction of the domain. CFX simulation result files are also attached.
