Ship needs thrust in order to move forward, which can be generated by rotating propeller behind its hull. Traditionally model tests are carried out to predict thrust and torque of a propeller, which are time consuming, require manpower and space and are costly. Alternatively, flow simulation can be used for hydrodynamic designs as it gives relative saving in time, manpower, space. In this prohect flow around a ship propeller is simulated.
