About the Concorde simulation with Fluent Project
Concorde with maximum speed over twice the speed of sound (Mach 2.04) was one of only two supersonic transports to have been commercially operated from 1976 until 2003. Concorde could fly to a height of 60,000 ft (a height of over 11 miles) and could carry up to 100 passengers. It was painted with a special white to adapt temperature changes and to dissipate the heat generated by supersonic flight. This work shows concorde CFD simulation performed using ANSYS Fluent. Fluent simulation results files are also attached for download.
