About the Particles Rising Simulation Project
Particles rising in liquid column simulated with OpenFOAM. MPPICInterFoam solver which employs an isothermal, incompressible, immiscible fluid using a VOF (volume of fluid) phase-fraction based interface capturing method is used. A single momentum equation is solved and momentum and other fluid properties are considered for the mixture. This is an example/tutorial from OpenFOAM test cases. Total simulation time 14s. OpenFOAM simulation result files are also attached for download. Enjoy!
