In this model I see streamlines flows throw to immersed solid, how change this ?

Hi Slawomir, in immersed solid method particles interaction with the lobe walls (solid domain) is not considered and since a streamline is the path that a zero mass particle would take through the fluid domain. Therefore most likely streamlines pass through the solid domain. You could try to play around with "Momentum Source Scaling Factor" (increase its value from default value of 10 to 100 or so). But that may cause convergence problem which you can suppress up to a certain level by setting the expert parameter "smooth inside ims = t". In any case some leakage might still occur specially regions where velocity becomes zero.

thanks, becouse I make the symulation of machines satellite, and streamlines flow throw immersed solid (satellite) when close timing holes(inlet) and I dont have idea what I make wrong? But I read about Momentum Source Scaling Factor and when I increased it, streamlines less stuck immersed solid but lost convergence. now I know that I will not completely remove the streamlines flow throw body.

Hi, Thank you for your contribution. I have a problem in specifying inlet/outlet BC; INLET: Defsult_Domain -> Edit -> Basic Settings -> Location Here are two options: FLUID2 and CASING SIDES. Therefore I can not select inlet face. The same is true for outlet. For outlet, I have also another problem: OUTLET -> Boundary Details -> Mass And Momentum -> option Here is no option named "Opening pres. and drin." Thanks in advance, Ali
