About the Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger CFD Simulation using ANSYS CFX Project
Simulating two fluids (water-water), of different starting temperatures, flowing through the heat exchanger. One flows through the tubes (the tube side) and the other flows outside the tubes but inside the shell (the shell side). Heat is exchanged between the two fluids through the tube walls, from shell side to tube side. For turbulence SST model is used.
