About the F1 2022 CFD Analysis Project
One of the major differences between F1 2021 and F1 2022 cars is the front wing design. F1 2022 car has quite a simpler front wing design than the previous editions. This design will also aid in reducing the dirty air and result in much closer races. So it will be interesting to have a look at the aerodynamics of F1 2022. Therefore in this project I have done aerodynamics analysis of F1 2022 race car. Some initial results are included in this project. CFD Simulation is performed using ANSYS CFX. Around 5 million mesh cells are used in this analysis. Inlet velocity is 70 m/s. For modeling turbulence SST turbulence model is used. Note: The 3D model of F1 2022 used in this CFD analysis is based on the F1 regulations but it is not exact. For 3D Model used in this project please refer to the 'Refetch of..' below.
