This project aim is to effectively increase the drying efficiency of cassava with the knowledge of temperature distribution within the dryer using CFD Software in comparison with Numerically solutions using either of the following methods Finite Volume Methods, Finite Difference Methods. My challenge is with understanding these methods and coupling the equations to effectively give me similar solution to the software.     Regarding methods, I think many/mostly currently available CFD softwares (Fluent, CFX, OpenFOAM, StarCCM+ etc.) use finte volume method (FVM). The one you referenced namely Autodesk flow simulation uses finite element method (FEM). You will find the advantages vs disadvantages of these methods in the literature in detail. Regarding coupling, what exactly you want to couple? Plus it would be easier to understand your problem if you add one or two images plus boundary conditions related to your problem.

    Good day Masood, Pardon my late response, I have modified the Model and put in to consideration other factors. Also, Thank you for the literature you referred, they are really helpful. In regard to what you demanded in your last reply, I will recap the problem again and share the images. Currently I am trying to use the simscale platform to achieve my results. Here is also a link to my model on the platform. https://www.simscale.com/workbench/?pid=8052780265922209174#tab_0-0 **Details** The dryer heat source is from Charcoal which is monitored to burn at an average temperature of 475K , and a volumetric flowrate of 230 CFM Air Flow rate or a film co-efficient of 5.119W/m^2K . _The following assumptions are taken_ A steady operating condition Air is an Ideal gas Radiation effect are negligible The ambient temperature is set to room temperature and constant. 273K. Note That some of the models have lids and fluid volume modeled in them, Are they relevant and what steps are there to be taken to get a good hex-dominant parametric mesh so I can perform a conjugate Heat transfer Simulation. The model is equally insulated with a generic wood between the sheet metal precisely
